UX/UI Designer — Robotics Video Annotation

Role overview Put your eye for detail to work helping train next-generation AI systems. In this role, you’ll review videos of robotic arms performing tasks, label important actions, and assess each recording against clear guidelines. Your contributions will help AI systems learn from real-world examples. The work combines visual analysis, careful observation and clear communication. No previous AI experience is required. What you’ll be doing • Review recordings of robotic arms carrying out specific tasks. • Use video annotation tools to label key actions, behaviours and outcomes. • Grade each session against the project’s instructions. • Write clear notes explaining your observations and decisions. • Collaborate with trainers and other contributors to maintain consistent quality. • Suggest improvements to labelling guidelines and processes. • Organise and submit completed work within the requested timeframes. Video annotation means adding labels or notes to footage so an AI system can learn from what happens. Who this could suit Relevant backgrounds include: • UX/UI and web design. • Video or music editing, photography and filmmaking. • Audiovisual production. • Robotics, mechanical engineering or electronics engineering. Previous video annotation or data-labelling experience is preferred, particularly for AI or machine-learning projects. Familiarity with digital content review, remote teamwork, and an interest in robotics would also be helpful. These are preferred backgrounds—you don’t need experience in every area listed. Pay and working arrangements Earn $50–$90 per hour on a contractor basis, working remotely from North America, Latin America, Europe, the UK or Oceania. Advertised openings: 3,000.
