Role overview Record expressive South African English speech for a customer-service AI voice project. The recordings may be used to create a synthetic version of your voice for that specific customer-service agent. What you’ll be doing • Read varied scripts in a clear, natural South African accent. • Record consistent, high-quality audio and follow guidance on delivery and file format. • Provide alternative takes when a script calls for a different tone or emphasis. Who this could suit South Africa-based native English speakers with an authentic South African accent. Voice-acting experience is welcome but not required. What you’ll need A good microphone and quiet recording space, clear diction and comfort with the stated voice-cloning use. You must be based in South Africa and available for a recording session of about four hours. You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, levels of experience and transferable skills. Pay and working arrangements Remote engagement paying $50–$100 per hour.
