Legal and Compliance AI Specialist

Role overview Use your legal experience to help assess the accuracy and clarity of AI-generated legal work across research, contracts and compliance. What you’ll be doing • Review AI summaries of statutes, cases, contracts and regulatory materials. • Label legal clauses, obligations, risk levels and relevant jurisdictions. • Assess AI-generated legal research and drafts, giving precise feedback supported by appropriate citations. • Help check relationships between legal sources and concepts. Who this could suit Legal or compliance professionals who enjoy close reading, careful research and explaining their reasoning in writing. What you’ll need A JD, LLB, LLM or equivalent law degree, plus practical experience in a legal practice, in-house team, regulator, legal technology or compliance function. You should know at least one legal system well, bring specialist experience in an area of law or regulation, and write with strong analytical and citation discipline. Bar admission or equivalent qualification is highly desirable. You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, levels of experience and transferable skills. Pay and working arrangements Remote project work open to candidates worldwide. Rates typically range from $60 to $140 per hour, depending on the project and your expertise; the upper end is reserved for highly specialised work.
