Data Scientist — AI Model Evaluation

Role overview Use your data science experience to test whether AI can solve analytical problems accurately and explain its reasoning. This is an application to an expert network for future projects; there is no immediate project attached to this listing. What you’ll be doing • Review AI-generated analysis, code and model outputs for technical accuracy. • Identify errors in modelling choices, statistical reasoning and quantitative claims. • Create reference solutions and compare AI responses with clear explanations. Who this could suit Data scientists who have built and evaluated real machine-learning systems and enjoy careful technical review. What you’ll need A bachelor's degree or higher in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related quantitative field; at least five years of professional data science or closely related experience; strong Python and advanced SQL skills; and practical experience with statistics, experiment design, model evaluation and deployment. C1 English proficiency is required. AI-training or annotation experience is a plus, not a requirement. You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. Pay and working arrangements Remote hourly contract work paying up to $100 per hour when a matching project is available. Applicants must be based in Germany, India or the United States.
