Content Writer & Editor — AI Text Evaluation

Role overview Apply your writing and editing judgement to a remote project assessing the quality of text used in AI evaluation. You will help identify where written work is clear, accurate and useful, and where it needs improvement. Prior AI project experience is not required. What you’ll be doing • Assess written material for clarity, coherence, accuracy and suitability for its intended audience. • Edit grammar, syntax, structure and tone while preserving the writer’s meaning. • Review AI-generated text for formulaic language, weak reasoning or other signs of poor quality. • Give specific, constructive feedback and document the reasoning behind your editorial decisions. • Work remotely with project coordinators and other specialists, delivering assignments to agreed deadlines. Who this could suit Writers, editors, English teachers and people who have reviewed or assessed written work professionally. Experience with editorial quality assurance, content evaluation or AI-generated text can be useful, but is not essential. What you’ll need Strong English writing and editing skills, close attention to detail, sound judgement about content quality, and the ability to work independently and provide clear feedback. The project prefers applicants with writing, editing or text-evaluation experience; a degree in English, linguistics or a related subject, or English-teaching experience, is also valued. Native-level English proficiency and availability in Australia or Asia Pacific time zones are preferred for project coverage. You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, levels of experience and transferable skills. Pay and working arrangements Remote contractor work paying $20–$70 per hour.
