GitHub Specialist — AI Workflow Training

Role overview

Help AI systems learn how people complete real repository management and collaboration tasks using GitHub. You will devise practical assignments, demonstrate them on your computer and provide enough documentation for a reviewer to follow the work.

What you’ll be doing

  • Create task briefs that reflect realistic uses of GitHub.
  • For example, organise a repository, work through branches and pull requests, improve project documentation or demonstrate a review and issue workflow.
  • Prepare the software, source files, access and references, then record the workflow from start to finish.
  • Document the goal, steps and result, and check the recording and supporting notes for completeness and clarity.

What you’ll need

Practical understanding of repositories, commits, branches, pull requests, merge conflicts, issues and permissions. Access to a test repository and any required Git tools is needed. English at B2 level or above is required for instructions, documentation and communication. You should be comfortable managing files and software, recording your screen, following detailed guidance and reviewing your own work carefully. Consistent, self-directed delivery is important.

Pay and working arrangements

Remote contractor work paying up to $20 per hour. Applications are limited to Bangladesh, India, Pakistan. The weekly hours, project duration and payment schedule are not specified.
