Role overview
Use professional interviewing experience to help evaluate how information is elicited and interpreted. The project involves structured interview work, careful assessment of responses and clear written reasoning for AI training.
What you’ll be doing
- Conduct or assess structured interviews designed to obtain relevant, accurate information.
- Build rapport and use non-coercive questioning, adapting to the conversation where appropriate.
- Review consistency, tone, pacing and other contextual cues without treating an impression as a proven fact.
- Record confidence assessments, emotional or motivational observations and the reasoning behind your conclusions.
- Apply the project rubric consistently and provide traceable notes for subsequent review.
Who this could suit
People with professional experience in investigative interviewing, intelligence elicitation or complex negotiation who can explain their reasoning precisely.
What you’ll need
The preferred profile includes three to five or more years of relevant interviewing experience and training in methods such as PEACE or cognitive interviewing. Strong written English, careful interpretation of verbal and nonverbal context, and the ability to justify an assessment are valuable. Experience with interpreters or diverse populations is useful. Annotation, model evaluation or structured assessment reporting experience is an advantage, but previous AI work is not required.
You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, levels of experience and transferable skills.
Pay and working arrangements
Remote contractor work paying $25–$65 per hour, with a commitment of at least approximately 15 hours per week. U.S.-based applicants are preferred. Project duration and payment frequency are not specified.
