Role overview
Use electronics inspection and failure-analysis experience to improve AI engineering datasets.
What you’ll be doing
- Review Gerber and PCB CAM information for quality and manufacturability.
- Assess PCB assemblies, harnesses, SMT faults and AOI false calls.
- Explain counterfeit-part and semiconductor inspection findings, including C-SAM and X-ray evidence.
Who this could suit
Electronics quality, CAM and failure-analysis professionals.
What you’ll need
The preferred background is eight or more years in PCB assembly, harnesses or semiconductor packaging, with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 expertise. IPC CIS/CIT credentials are strongly preferred. Gerber review, SMT/AOI analysis, AS6081 counterfeit screening, C-SAM/X-ray inspection and MIL-STD-883 knowledge are requested.
You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, levels of experience and transferable skills.
Pay and working arrangements
Remote contractor work paying $70–$120 USD per hour. US-based professionals are preferred; this is a preference rather than a stated mandatory restriction. The listing states 30 openings. Project duration, weekly hours and payment schedule have not been stated unless specified above; confirm these before accepting work.
