Role overview
Use your Slovenian language expertise to improve the quality of AI-generated writing. This role combines close editorial review with reference-answer writing, so models receive clear examples of accurate, natural and culturally appropriate communication.
What you’ll be doing
- Check Slovenian responses for meaning, reasoning, grammar, style and compliance with the prompt.
- Compare answers and explain which is stronger, using consistent quality criteria.
- Research factual claims when needed and flag misleading, unsafe or culturally inappropriate content.
- Write prompts, corrections and reference answers suited to the intended audience, from everyday conversation to professional or educational material.
Who this could suit
Writers, editors, translators, localisation reviewers, journalists and educators with substantial Slovenian language experience. Previous AI evaluation, annotation or language-quality work is strongly preferred.
What you’ll need
Native or near-native Slovenian reading and writing, English at C1 level or above, and at least three years of professional language-focused experience. A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in language, linguistics, literature, communication, journalism, translation or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience, is required. You should be able to explain issues involving case endings, diacritics, agreement and dual number, adapt language to different audiences, preserve meaning and give precise English feedback. Reliable independent work and careful attention to subtle errors are essential.
You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, levels of experience and transferable skills.
Pay and working arrangements
Remote contractor work paying up to $25 per hour. Applications are limited to Slovenia. The weekly hours, project duration and payment schedule are not specified.
