Role overview
Lead quality review for AI training projects involving social sciences, education and learning. You will assess content, support contributors and help the team apply consistent standards for evidence, teaching quality, social context and ethical judgement.
What you’ll be doing
- Review AI-generated explanations, lesson materials, research summaries and assessment items against detailed quality criteria.
- Give actionable feedback, resolve reviewer questions and escalate recurring quality or bias concerns.
- Keep trainers and quality reviewers informed about changes, and follow up with contributors whose participation has lapsed.
- Maintain guidance, examples, calibration tasks, trackers and onboarding documentation.
- Run onboarding or training sessions and improve review processes as recurring issues emerge.
Who this could suit
Experienced educators, curriculum specialists, social researchers and academic or educational reviewers who can explain evidence and support a remote team. Previous team leadership and AI quality review experience are particularly useful.
What you’ll need
A relevant degree, teaching credential or equivalent professional experience in education, sociology, psychology, anthropology, political science, social work, public policy or a related field, plus at least three years of relevant teaching, research, curriculum, assessment or review work. You need strong English, sound knowledge of research methods, pedagogy, social context and ethics, and the ability to spot unsupported generalisations, weak causal claims, bias and unsuitable educational content. Strong organisation and confidence using remote collaboration tools such as Discord, shared documents, spreadsheets and tracking systems are essential. Experience leading reviewers or trainers is strongly preferred.
