Role overview
Turn professional Blender work into demonstrations and benchmarks that help AI agents use desktop creative software. You will create realistic tasks, record how you complete them and define the evidence needed to judge whether the result is correct.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop practical 3D assignments covering modelling, retopology, UV work, shading, lighting or scene assembly.
- Record each workflow with the supplied capture tools, including the relevant interface state and file changes.
- Explain the steps, define a successful finished result and identify useful intermediate checkpoints.
- Check that tasks can be scored reliably; contributors moving into QA also review other demonstrations.
Who this could suit
Blender-focused 3D artists with studio, freelance or contract production experience who can explain professional decisions and common failure modes. Prior AI training, annotation, evaluation or benchmark experience is included in the requirements.
What you’ll need
Two to five years of professional Blender work, or equivalent demonstrable practical experience. Production proficiency should cover clean topology, modifiers, UV unwrapping, materials, shading, lighting and Cycles or EEVEE rendering, plus diagnosis of geometry, normals and scale problems. You need English at B2 or above and a Windows 11, Ubuntu with X11, or macOS computer that can run Blender and the supplied recording tools together. Tasks are assigned by operating system. Follow the project’s rubrics, protect personal information, use approved applications and complete the work with your own expertise: closed-source AI assistants are prohibited by the project contract.
You don’t have to match every requirement exactly. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds, levels of experience and transferable skills.
