What you’ll be doing
- Review tax and financial workflows against the supplied instructions and scoring criteria.
- Compare system outputs with relevant tax documents and realistic filing situations.
- Annotate errors, omissions and usability problems and explain your assessment clearly.
- Connect personal financial accounts through Plaid and provide access to personal Gmail and Google Drive for the assigned workflow reviews.
- Share relevant tax documents for the project; the project states that downstream use occurs after personal identifying information has been removed.
- Keep the remote project team informed of progress and findings.

What you’ll need
The preferred background includes hands-on experience filing 2025 U.S. taxes, independently or with a tax professional, plus financial literacy and careful document review. Mainland U.S. residence and an immediate start are preferred. You must be comfortable with the project’s personal-account connections and tax-document sharing requirements. Clear communication, familiarity with Google Workspace and consistent use of written evaluation criteria are important. Bachelor’s-level education is listed. Previous AI work is not required.
